Quilting Machine (Brand, type, age) APQS Millenium

When did you start quilting? Piecing 1975, longarming 2004

What /who is your inspiration? My inspiration has always been the charity quilting -- trying to cover the needs of many.

What type of quilting do you prefer? (custom, panto, freestyle, etc) I did only freestyle and custom until about 2 years ago when I
tried pantos. Now it just depends on the day and how mentally involved I want to be.

I don’t do a lot of heavy custom anymore because it’s too hard on the body.

What is your greatest quilting obstacle? Somehow I became the quilter for people who make “unique” quilts. This week alone I have quilted one with a back from the prequilted fabric with the slippery lining and a T-shirt quilt with a complete baseball shirt on it, buttons and all. Then there was the one with the
paper 3-dimensional nurses’ hats.

How many quilts do you quilt per day/month/year? Probably 8 a month.

What do you do to keep focused? (music, book on tape, mantra…etc) My I-pod.

Publications: Nope.
