Our mission for the group this year will be to learn and grow with members demonstrating techniques and teaching at each meeting meetings. For the September meeting the program will be DeAnn Feagan on stencils. Next Goals meeting is Thursday January 5, 2010 at Bergan Mercy Hospital, room TBA. Socialize early and come at 6:30.
Whole-Cloth Quilting, presented by Valerie Tieszen
If you have a whole-cloth quilt, bring it for show and tell.
Challenge 2012!
Bring a UFO to be finished within the year to the September 2011 meeting to register. You will have until May to finish our projects.

2011-2012 Guild Block Challenge/MQS Quilt Exhibit
MQS sponsors special exhibits where longarm-guilds can enter a collection of similar quilts. Entries should be the same block, but they don’t have to be pieced with the same fabrics. Quilting style and pattern is up to the individual quilter. The exhibit shows how one block can be quilted in a variety of ways, depending on the quilter, her style, technique, experience, etc. Finished quilts should be 40”x40” or smaller.
Quilts in this exhibit are not judged.
